Jean Atwood, MD, FACOG

Jean Atwood, MD practices at both our Gahanna and Pataskala locations.  She is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist and is also a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.  Dr Atwood is a member of the Ohio State Medical Association and the Columbus Medical Association.

Dr. Atwood is a graduate of the University of Toledo.  She received her Master of Science degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.  Dr. Atwood   obtained her medical degree from Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio.  She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Mount Carmel Medical Center and the Ohio State University.  Dr Atwood practiced at the Central Ohio Medical group for one year before beginning her solo practice in Pataskala, Ohio.  Dr. Atwood then joined Dr Doyle to begin Women’s Care Center of Columbus, Inc. 

Dr. Atwood served as President of the Taylor Station Surgery Center and on the Physicans Advisory Board. She also served as an OB/GYN Physician Instructor at St. Ann's Hospital and Mount Carmel East and the Residency Coordinator for Mount Carmel East Hospital as well as Vice Chair and Secretary for the Department of OB/GYN at Mount Carmel East Hospital.
