Nurse Practitioner

Becky Schmitt, CNP

Becky  received her BSN from the Ohio State University.  She practiced for 22 years in Columbus at Children’s Hospital, Grant Medical Center, and Riverside Hospitals.  She specialized in high risk obstetrics and both low and high risk labor and delivery.  Since becoming nationally certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, and has continued prenatal care in collaboration with Dr. Jean Atwood at the Gahanna office location.  Becky also specializes in preventative care of women under 40 years old for annual exams, contraceptive counseling and sexually transmitted disease screening.

Becky has a special interest in patient teaching and works with nursing students at Columbus State Community College.  She also enjoys meeting with teen and young adult women for their first gynecological exam.
